360° and Halo Lounge kicked off the new year with an all night New Years Eve party! The New Year was ringed in style at New Orleans chicest club, 360°, and their newly developed Halo Lounge, located in the New Orleans World Trade Center, #2 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA, Halo, on the 31st floor and 360°, on the 33rd floor.
The evening kicked off at 9PM with rooms designed for your pleasure under the colorful branches of the Fall Frenzy room to the sounds of DJ Javier Drada. Dine on Applewood Smoked Turkey, brie and pumpkin pie by Food Art, but don't dally too long! It's off to the Winter Wonderland and Victor DJ. Chill out and suck down some raw oysters, salmon and chocolate fondue to warm you up! Explore all the seasons as you Splash into Summer with sun, sand, and from New York City the incredible sounds of Tortured Soul playing live House music, while you're there grab some grilled tuna and slam some spiked fruit salad! The Spring Fiesta and all of its floral glory, with lamb kebabs and tender mushrooms, reserved for the private club members. Every spot in the club has a perfect view of the fireworks at 12 Midnight from the 360° windows. Don't forget to sneak in a new years kiss with the one next to you

The artists lineup include the New York City live House act, Tortured Soul: Tortured Soul is a new concept in the world of house music. It's live. The instrumentation is simple and organic: drums, electric bass, vintage keys and soulful vocals. It filters club sounds like Afro Beat and Samba through a lens of jazzy House and American Soul reflecting intense grooves evocative of Jamiroquai, Stevie Wonder, The New Deal, and Fela Kuti. The trio's new album, Introducing Tortured Soul, came out in May 2004 to rave reviews leading to their tour this past year. Tortured Soul has quickly attracted notoriety and respect in the music world and is definitely an act not to miss! Their new CD, Introducing Tortured Soul, will be available for purchase on New Year&Mac226;s Eve.
All the way from the sunny beaches of Miami Florida, via the chilly northern clime of New York City comes B-Boy and House master Javier Drada. Currently a music producer, highly acclaimed DJ and label owner, Javier Drada continues to pursue his love for music in New Orleans.
Famous for his Latin inspired rhythms, Victor DJ is a staple of nightlife here in New Orleans. A regular DJ at Whiskey Blue and 360°, he'll surely get you shakin' on the dance floor!
As you stroll the seasons, you may notice the incredible décor by Heather Macfarlane and Mark Kirk of Unique Products. Their fabulous store on Magazine Street, UP is known city wide as the place to pick up funky lamps, clocks and one of a kind gifts. They have provided décor installation for numerous events and organizations, to name a few: the New Orleans Film Festival's Galas, the Contemporary Arts Center's, SweetArts Balls and MTV's Real World. Together with a team of other local artists, they have dreamt up the seasonal landscape in which you will immerse yourselves!
