It is no wonder that after all of the dust cleared, the truth would finally come out regarding the Danziger Bridge killings by NOPD’s police cover up, the real political posture’s would disappear. However, the man who stood firm for truth and justice, would have his day to say, “I told you so”.
Former District Attorney Eddie Jordan told NOLA.Tv in this exclusive video coverage, he had hoped to receive the cooperation of the police department in regards to many cases, but far too often he received just the opposite. While being DA, in order to get convictions, you must have a police department made of excellence. Instead, he got excuses about poor paper work on the part of the officers, shabby and incomplete investigation, corruption or incompetence at the least. Moreover, many times the blame came back at him and would ultimately lead to the demise of his administration. Now the truth is out, the spot light has turned directly at those who sought to deny justice, now they deserved their political grand stand. A GRAND JURY.
After the indictment and guilty plea of New Orleans Police Lt. Michael Lohman, this can make a citizenry pretty skeptical about the integrity of the department and the culture of corruption within it, from top to bottom.
NOLA.Tv will produce a series on corruption, with 3 parts on Eddie Jordan’s ideas about the Danziger Bridge incident and corruption within the department.
